We conducted the third webinar in a series of events on the Survey Design of the Consumer Pyramids Household Survey. In this session, Kaushik Krishnan, Chief Economist and Mahesh Vyas, MD and CEO of CMIE talked about Weights in the Consumer Pyramids Household Survey on Friday, January 22, 2020 at 6.00 PM IST.

As the use of the Consumer Pyramids Household Survey has become widespread, we have received many questions on survey design. To answer them, we have prepared up to date documentation on Survey Design and Sample, Sample Survival and Response Rates, and Weights. In addition to the documentation, the webinar series on Survey Design is designed to walk researchers through the material across three webinars.

The webinar was one hour long with 30 minutes of Q&A to answer questions. The presentation was done by Kaushik and Q&A was jointly answered by Kaushik and Mahesh. This was an interactive opportunity for researchers to learn more about how we conduct the survey, and for us to improve our documentation and respond to queries.
